Computer Based Test.
Computer Based Test (CBT) is a modern testing procedure where each examiner answers their question directly on a computer. It’s a bit different from the traditional way of testing where individuals will have to answer their questions using a paper and a pencil or pen.
Computer Based Testing requires the examinee to have a grab on basic computer knowledge, which involves appreciation of common computer desktop icons, basic mouse use, as well as understanding important navigation. Apart from writing the exams on a computer, the arrangement of the exams with respect to timing and level of precision also differs with the conventional paper and pencil based testing
We are trying to paint the picture that based portray the pattern of computer based test to enable prospective candidates, notably first timers, to get the basic features of the computer based examination scenario.
Features of Computer Based Test

(1)One-Student-One-Computer: This testing system is based on one person per computer system at a particular time. As always expected of a good student, you are advised to enter the examination hall only with the approved examination materials. The candidate will sit close to the computer system, maybe a laptop computer or a desktop computer.
The candidate will face the computer screen awaiting the invigilators command
*START*. Some Exams like the ones mostly administered by PERSONS are strictly on computer based while some others may be dual, i.e both computer and paper. In the latter, the students or examiner is given examination question paper and they will be required to answer their questions on the computer unlike the former, the students or the examiner are not given any question paper. Here the questions are on the computer screen while the examiner chooses their seemingly correct answers by right clicking the radio button.
(2) Computer Based Test Desktop, How does it look like? All computer desktops contain icons for simple computer user interaction with the computer system. It uses the WYSIWYG theory.
That means what you see is what you get. Depending on the type of test, the computer screen might be preset to the START page where the examiner will just have to fill in their personal details which is sometimes part of the exams itself.
No matter what exams it is, the basic icons that will be found in the screen will not be very far from what I will explain below in point number three.
(3) What are the notable desktop icons for Computer Based Test (CBT)?
(a) The START Button: the time that every exam commences is the *START* period and the time that the exam ends is the *STOP* button. Examiners should be very watchful of this button as it the paramount of all.
(b) Time and Progress: Immediately when you click start, the clock timer begins to count, which indicates the progress of the exams. This also indicates the time that is remaining for the exams. At any point of the exams, at least you should be able to see how much time remaining for you.
(c) Question Counter: just like the time counter, there is also questions timer. This indicates how many questions you have answered and how many are remaining. So you will not likely be in a loop while writing computer based test. For instance you are writing a 50 question exams and you are on the eleventh question, the question timer will indicate something like *question 11 of 50. Meaning that you still have 39 questions unanswered. Simple maths isn’t it?
(d) Test Navigations: This feature of a computer based test is as important as the test itself and they are always available on the test screen throughout the test session. Notable of the navigations are
(1) *NEXT* which goes to the next question when clicked, clicking next moves you the next screen

For instance something like this appears on your screen:
Solve for x .

x - 2 + 3x = 10
A. 6
B. 3
C. 5
D. 2
E. 4
You select one of the best answers by:
•Pressing the letter on the keyboard,
•Clicking the radio button with a mouse, or
•Use the Tab Key to move through the options and then pressing the space-bar to select an option.
Select the next button to continue.
Hope this write up gives you a brief overview of the pattern of computer based test. So, as expected, if you read this article before the test, it means you have what it takes to succeed in your exams. The Gurusprovince Teamwish you all the best in any of your exams. How Will You Know My Answers Or Exam Type?
This is the question most candidate frequently ask. Let me make it clear that Jamb Questions are all the same on every exam date/day morning & afternoon, there is no exclusive set of questions for each candidate; This is what JAMB does, they set the same questions for all Day 1 candidates and another different set of questions for Day 2 candidates and so on… Day 1 questions are not the same as Day 2 questions to be precise.
So all candidates writing on Day 1 will get the same questions and answers but JAMB will twist the numbering and options, making it look exclusive and unique to each candidates. This simply means your No.1 Question Can Be Your Partners NO. 30 Question and so on.

7 Secret Reasons Why Nigera upcoming Artists Will Never Blow Throughout Their Entire Career being An Upcoming Artiste

Have you sat back and wondered why most Nigerian upcoming musicians never make it in the industry?
Is it because they are not talented?
If you are an upcoming musician then you better continue reading this educating Article.
Below are some reasons why upcoming musicians in Nigeria never become famous:
1- Pride
Pride is a determinant factor of how a precarious music artist will elevate in his musical career.
Yet it is evident that this habit is popular among upcoming heads in Nigeria.
They always give an exaggerated expression of their financial status through flamboyant dressing on social media.
This false lifestyle eventually alienates them from help.

2- They Don’t Advertise Themselves
Nothing comes cheap in Nigeria.
To become famous, you have to advertise yourself aggressively in the highly competitive music industry and the internet is a very vital tool.
Advertising your tracks on good music websites, for example, Gurusprovince.com where ardent music lovers are always at alert to download songs and share with their friends.
Sharing your song links on social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter gives you a chance of being noticed.

3- They Patronise Cheap Producers
You need not to sing like Michael Jackson before you become famous.
And, the impact of good production cannot be overemphasized.
Most upcoming artistes are fond of patronising shady producers who produce low quality contents at a cheaper rate.

4- Use Of Widespread Instrumentals
Most well known producers in the industry, including: Young John, Dj Coublon, Ekelly, Masterkraft, Kezyklef, Killertunes dish out dope beats free of charge online.
However, most upcoming musicians do not make use of this initiative, instead, they resort to over used instrumentals.

5- Lack Of Creativity
What makes a potential artist standout is creativity and uniqueness.
Yet, many upcoming artistes fail to get to the peak of their dreams because of lack of creativity.

6- Immature Lyrics & Chorus
Good lyrics and punch lines is all you need to at least gain some recognition, especially as an upcoming head.
When you listen to the songs of many upcoming artistes in Nigeria however, you will keep wondering if the songs were composed in the space of 2 minutes, garnished with uncoordinated lyrics.
Some will sing a chorus repeatedly for about 4 minutes after which a short verse will follow and that is it. Sickening!

7- Imitating the style of others
To succeed in life, you have to do something others are not doing, or what they have never done.
Rapper Olamide has is ownstyle in the industry.
Lil Kesh is also a good example when it comes to style. You have to fake something to get there, dont be a copy cat
Mr Eazi stepped into the Nigerian music industry with his own self made character that most producers and musicians are emulating his methods.
Every artiste should have his own style which becomes ultimately their brand, so why copy their style as a leverage to also get to your limelight??
Create your own style!!
